I just wanted to put a Thank You in writing to C  Carlo Hair Design  for some absolutely beautiful Hair styles at the show.   Also Thanks to Elle Day Spa for the great make up.   All of the flowers that our models carried were created by Garden Blossom florist, weren’t they fantastic! ThankYou!!

I am getting excited about the show.  With only a few short days until Berkshire Countys Best wedding show,we are busy with all the last minute preparations.  I would like to just remind you all that doors open at 11 and you can bring everyone that you would like as there is no limit to people who can attend.  Also people have asked if both fashion shows(at 12 and 2)  are alike?  Nope.  There are two separate shows with about 30 pieces each, both being different.  Both shows feature a little bit of everything.  Well I can’t wait to see you all on Sunday at Berkshire Hills Country Club!!!!

Tickets for the show are FREE for the bride and groom. Everyone else is $5.oo  We traditionally have our show the 1st Sunday in January but, we will NOT have a bridal show on January 4th 2009. So come to this one and shop early for your wedding and save with all of our vendors from the Berkshires and surrounding areas. There will be DJ’s , Cake people, Photographers, Videographers, The Bridal Gallery, Grooms Choice, JOP’s, Banquet people, Limos, jewelery, florists etc…..

Hi there all of my new and upcoming Brides,

Following the Bridal Show on November 2nd we will have a “racing” of the brides sale.  The sale will take place at the Allendale Shopping Center, in The Bridal Gallery.  There will be 70+ gowns $250 and under in sizes 4-18.   There will also be a selection of wedding gowns shown in our fashion show, that if purchased,  will come with a free veil.  This sale will begin at 3:30 and last only 2 hours.  DO NOT MISS this opportunity to dress yourself for your special day.

Yesterday I had the great fortune of  being reminded of why this is my profession.  A bride walked in and told me her wedding was in four weeks, And unfortunately her dress would not be arriving from the shop where she had ordered it.  She had a budget and despite her circumstances  still wanted her dream dress.  This is the point where I start to hope I will have something to  make this very sweet girl happy.  She picked out a couple of gowns and her maid-of-honor grabbed one also.  The first bridal gown that she picked out ended up being “the one”.  She’s a beautiful,  wonderful person and I was thrilled to be there to help.  That bride is the reason The Bridal Gallery is here.  It was a pleasure, my pleasure , and I hope her day is fantastic!!!!

People always ask me about tradition.  So is it ok to let the groom or anyone else see the gown?  Well I guess thats up to you.  Will it bring doom to your marriage?  Here is my theory,  following tradition  or not  following it will not take your marriage down nor will it ruin it from “I DO”.  What is important, is surprising him!  That amazing moment when he is standing there looking so handsome in his designer tuxedo,  and you appear, and your beauty takes his breath away.  You only get that moment in your relationship one time,  so it is up to you.  Some brides show everyone they know and some just choose not to.  Tradition is just what you make it.
